The tag line for the Carolina Herrera Good Girl fragrance is “It’s so good to be bad.” Here are a few of my thoughts on this from my talk at the launch event in New York.

“It’s so good to be bad. Women can embody complexity, duality, and ability to express paradox. It behooves us to question the dominant structure and indeed to rebel against the values that are not serving us. It is good to embrace our own feminine beauty and sexiness and not shrink any part of our selves. The Puella is the archetype of the eternal girl, she is rebellious and spontaneous in nature and does not conform to values that are not aligned with her own. She doesn’t shrink or hide her beauty or personality. She wields it as power, ideally for the highest good.”
